THE KNOTTY KIDS SALON is 100% committed to the safety and health of everyone who steps through our doors.
COVID-19 has not only changed the way we live our daily lives, but also the way we operate as a salon. These are the extra precautions we take as recommended by the CDC and the Denver Department of Health.
Social Distancing – During your time in the salon, please maintain a 6 foot distance from other guests and staff that are not servicing you whenever possible.
Masks – Masks are mandatory for both staff and guests regardless of vaccination status. We do not enforce this rule on guests 3 & under but if they are comfortable wearing one, please do. If you don’t have a mask, one will be provided. We have several high risk employees and safety is our #1 concern. We thank you very much for your understanding and cooperation.
Sanitizer – There will be hand sanitizer at each styling station, as well as at the front desk. Please sanitize and/or wash your hands once you enter the salon and after your service prior to checking out.
Salon Sanitation and Disinfection – We are designating additional time in-between clients for a thorough sanitation and disinfection of each stylist’s station, chair and tools. All high volume areas are cleaned and sanitized regularly.
Payment + Gratuities – If you prefer contactless payment when checking out, please make sure your credit card is saved in your profile and let us know upon check out. The credit card station is sanitized in between EVERY guest. We accept cash, Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express, but unfortunately do not take checks. If you would prefer to tip in cash, we ask that you hand it directly to your stylist or ask to put it in your stylists envelope at the front desk.
Cancellation fees – While our original cancellation policy requires 24 hour notice, we are currently waiving cancellation fees should you cancel for a Covid-related illness as long as you call us to let us know. If you fail to call or don’t show for your appointment, you will be charged 50% of the price of your service from the credit card we have on file. Please understand we are holding time for you, and with such short notice we are unlikely able to fill that slot from our waitlist.
New client bookings – If you are wishing to make an appointment with us and are new to the salon, we do require a credit card number to hold and reserve the service appointment for you. Please see our cancellation policy listed above.
